As part of the PROPME project, I provided technical support to agri-food enterprises to help them obtain the Market Approval Certificate (MAC). My role involved conducting a thorough diagnosis of the companies' production and management processes, followed by personalized coaching to enhance their practices.
My support included:
Analyzing the sanitary and technical standards required for obtaining the MAC.
Identifying potential gaps and implementing strategies to address them.
Assisting in the preparation and submission of administrative dossiers to obtain this certification.
Training companies on best practices regarding food safety, product quality, and regulatory compliance.
This assistance allowed several businesses to strengthen their market position and expand their distribution network both within Benin and the wider sub-region.

• Utilization of digital tools (KoboCollect, SurveyCTO) for real-time monitoring of field activities
• Development and implementation of logical frameworks and dashboards for monitoring performance indicators of projects
• Consolidation, cleaning, and analysis of survey data to evaluate project/program progress
• Supervision of field surveys to collect data on the impacts of interventions
• Monitoring objectives defined in the PCDA of the 12 departments of Benin to measure the effectiveness of interventions, with a focus on the SDGs

• Evaluation of the vulnerability of water resources in the northern regions of Benin considering climatic, geographic, and social factors, and providing recommendations for enhancing the climate resilience of local communities
• Analysis of the collected data on climatic conditions, available water sources, and water resource management practices to understand their impact on the long-term sustainability of water resources and community resilience
• Support for integrating climate impacts into local policies in the targeted regions, particularly in water resource management and climate change adaptation
• Assessment of existing policies and collected data to recommend adjustments to water resource management strategies, aiming to ensure sustainability in the face of climate challenges
• Data collection from the local population in the northern areas of Benin, using field surveys, focus groups, and interviews to assess the perception of water and climate-related risks
• Analysis of socio-economic and health data to understand the impact of water scarcity on community health, particularly for women and girls
• This includes indicators such as waterborne disease prevalence and economic productivity impacts
• Evaluation of the impact of the lack of drinking water facilities on the daily lives of women and girls in the communities of Tanguiéta, Cobly, and other northern localities of Benin, focusing on health, time spent collecting water, and socio-economic impacts
• Analysis of data to measure the impact of water collection on the well-being of women and girls, particularly in terms of health, time lost for economic and educational activities, and indirect costs associated with managing waterborne diseases

• Data collection from local communities and stakeholders, including both direct and indirect beneficiaries of the project, using surveys, focus groups, and interviews with key informants
• Analysis and evaluation of the project's impact on the nutrition of targeted communities, including changes in agricultural practices, food security, dietary habits, and its impact on maternal and child health
• Preparation of the evaluation report with recommendations for strengthening future interventions, with a particular focus on improving access to nutritious food and sustainable agricultural practices
