  • My mission in Chad consisted in coordinating emergency activities in the Farchana area in Eastern Chad on behalf of AIRD.
  • During this period, I supervised several teams made up of 03 logistics bases in charge of warehouse management, fuel management, transport of essential household items for refugees, transport of partner staff to intervention zones, the construction of warehouses (Rubb Hall) and shelters for refugees (RHU), the transport and relocation of over 60,000 refugees, the management of mechanical workshops and the repair of vehicles for UNHCR and its partners.
  • During this period, I coordinated the Cross-border AIRD/HCR Soudan project, which provided support for emergency operations for internally displaced people in Sudan, through the unloading, storage, loading and international transport of goods from Chad to Sudan.
  • Participation in this large-scale refugee assistance operation provided an opportunity to actively participate in meetings of the logistics cluster of partners in the area, and to share field experience with teams from various international NGOs operating in the region.

  • My role was to provide overall management about logistic, finance and administrative services to support the operations at the Field office including and not limited to: Operations management, Construction project , warehouse and workshop management, fleet and fuel management, HR and Fianance.

During this period, the AIRD team under my leadership provide strong support to UNHCR and his partner's logistics activities in the east province of ITURI in DRC.

  • One of my accomplishment was about fleet maintenance and a high standard of service to partner. I have put in place a preventive fleet maintenance plan that help my team to reduce car breakdown, identified early warning lights and save time for maintenance in our workshop.
